A prayer for taking Refuge in the Triple Gem: the Buddha Nature, which is the pure mind inherent in all beings, the Dharma, or the Sacred Teaching, which liberates beings from suffering, and the Sangha - the community of the followers of the Noble Path.

I seek refuge where death will not bind me; I seek refuge in the Buddha Nature – the pure mind, which all beings have.

I seek refuge where old age will not blind and deafen me; I seek refuge in the Sacred Teaching, which liberates beings from ignorance

I seek refuge where disease will not tear me apart; I seek refuge in the Sangha, through giving peace to others.

Let there be good!
