Fairytales of Hundred Rivers

In a dark shed, there lived a spider. She had been spinning spider webs, like her sisters and brothers.

One day, a woman peered inside the shed, looked at the web, and learned to weave on the loom. A long time had passed. Some stars shattered and some went out.

And then, a man peered inside the shed. He watched the spider’s movements, and began to write poetry and draw paintings.

A long time had passed again. There were people who forgot why names are given, and there were names the meaning of which had changed.

And then, a child peered inside the shed.

“What are you doing, Spider?” he asked.

“Spinning a web,” the spider replied.

“Why?” the child investigated.

“To save my world,” said the spider.

And the child learned to pray.

Since then, many lives had passed. Faith had become partial, and many teachers lost their affection for the world. And then, somebody peered inside the shed again…

Let there be good!
