Do not be afraid! Six paths lie ahead of you: childhood, adolescence, youth, adulthood, old age, and dying.

Do not fear the path of childhood. Although the robber Anger attacks those who walk this path, remember that whenever you wish to learn to do good, the guardian deities protect you.

Do not fear the path of adolescence. Although the serpent of envy tries to swallow those who walk this path, if you are grateful, no matter how wide it opens its mouth, it will not be able to swallow you, because gratefulness makes your mind boundless.

Do not fear the path of youth. Although there is a gaping pit of desire on this path, and it is filled with glowing coals of suffering, if you patiently walk around it, without clinging to your desires, you will not fall into it.

Do not fear the path of adulthood. Although the ghost of gloominess attempts to drive mad those who walk this path, if you learn to be content, this ghost will dissipate like morning fog.

Do not fear the path of old age. Although pride bewitches those who walk this path, and causes them to fall into slumber, if you constantly practice giving, the charms of pride will not delude you.

Do not fear the path of dying. Although those who walk this path will be judged for all their deeds, if you have walked the previous five paths successfully, the heavenly court will reward you with blessed freedom.

Let there be good!
